JAY-Z IS THE NEW BOSS AT DEF JAM
Yesterday was a glorious day for all fans of Hip Hop. Jay-z, the charismatic MC from Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects has succeeded Kevin Liles at Def Jam Records. Def Jam finally bought the remaining 50% of Roco-Fella from owners Dame Dash, Biggs Burke, and Jay-z. Jay will also bring his Roco-Fella roster over to Def Jam to create one of the illest rosters in the business. Def Jam will be able to compete with the Interscope, Aftermath, and Shady. Def Jam boast such recording as Ludacris, Method Man, Redman, DMX, Ja-Rule, Ashanti (The Inc), and Def Jam’s pride & Joy LL Cool J, who Jay-z battle outside a club back in the early 90’s. Jay-z will be making history as he did with his own recording career. Good luck, Jay!
50 CENT MAY HAVE GONE 2 FAR
Rapper 50 Cent may have went a little too far as he had supposedly recorded a diss record about Fat Joe & Jada Kiss. The record comes on the heels of 5o Cent new album coming out this February. Word has it that Benzino and Eminem will squash their on going beef. Em, has mentioned something about the incident on his new single, “Toy Soldier”. Let’s all Stop the Beef!
SNOOP’S HIT IT BIG WITH THE KIDS
Snoop Dogg just signed a seven deal to star in a movie about him coaching his son’s lil’ league football team, Rowland Heights Raiders. Snoop says that Hollywood bank on the 2 or 3 million they think he can bring to the teathers, but Snoop wants more demanding roles. Snoop has struck gold again with his new album titled “Rhythm & Gangster. He has another hit record with, “Drop[ it like its hot”. This will be another classic by Snoop - Do – double – g.
CHANNEL LIVE DROPS A BOMB ON, “MR. PRESIDENT”
Veteran rap group Channel Live has drop another 12” after a three year hiatus. The song is a political one that attacks Bush and his administration about the war in Iraq.

R.I.P OLD DIRTY BASTARD
Their will never be another ODB again! He was one of the most original MCs to grace the mic and was never afraid to go against the grain to achieve success. Before dying, ODB shared the stage with all nine original members of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan for a tour to promote their greatest hits album. ODB will be missed!
